Sewage was overflowing near Jyoti Nivas College, in Ward 14, Bengaluru. Ananya Rao reported it in public, under the name she chose, with a photo attached: who spoke, what standing they spoke with, what they want, where, what evidence, addressed to whom.
She didn't have to say who she is.

BBMP accepted jurisdiction, acknowledged it, and officer Raghav Iyer committed in public to a fix by 30 September. When the work was done, he reported it with photo evidence, and Ananya confirmed the drain was actually clear before the record could read Resolved.

In Mysuru, Divya Rao reported garbage burning behind the bus stand every morning. Two neighbours corroborated it. Nobody from the ward office has claimed it yet. A neighbour asked what was happening. That question is unanswered too.
Vaak does not write "the government did nothing." It writes "no official response has been recorded." A vāk does not need an office's answer to come true: neighbours who can reach the problem themselves close it, and credit goes to whoever did.
Silence doesn't stop the civic record. It becomes the missing part of it.
Nothing is deleted. Everything is disputed in the open.
